Fashion Farm Foundation (FFF) brought Hong Kong fashion into focus during Paris Fashion Week with the HKFG SS27 Presentation, Showcase and Networking event, giving eight local labels a platform to present their latest collections to an international audience of fashion media, buyers, industry insiders and creatives.
Held on the second day of Paris Fashion Week, the programme featured AENRMOUS, DEMO, KINYAN LAM, MATT HUI, PONDER.ER, STUDIO REDEMPTIVE, THE WORLD IS YOUR OYSTER and TIGERS TROLLING. KINYAN LAM, THE WORLD IS YOUR OYSTER and TIGERS TROLLING presented their collections through individual presentations, while the wider showcase brought all eight designers together in front of invited guests.

Three Visions of Summer
KINYAN LAM presented Lightness of Summer, a collection shaped by colour, open space and the ease associated with the warmer months. Looser silhouettes and lighter fabrics were presented against a white industrial setting, softened by yellow accents and tulips. The presentation reflected the collection’s interest in air, light and the relaxed rhythm of long summer days.
For THE WORLD IS YOUR OYSTER, Wandering Summer took guests somewhere more coastal. Its presentation was designed like a seaside holiday cottage, creating a sense of escape from the pace of the city. Inspired by the youthful atmosphere of Bonjour Tristesse, the collection explored ocean movement, natural colours and the label’s signature idea of “Design with a twist.”
TIGERS TROLLING took SS27 in a more speculative direction with an unexist utopia, imagining a world where traditional garments meet futuristic materials and identities become less fixed. A semi-transparent greenhouse formed the centre of the presentation, with plants, industrial plastic film and a single spotlight creating blurred silhouettes and the feeling of a place that exists somewhere between reality and imagination.

Hong Kong Design on an International Stage
The wider HKFG SS27 Showcase extended the programme beyond the three individual presentations. DEMO explored the space between stagewear and everyday dressing, while MATT HUI’s Live to the Fullest looked back at youth and the possibilities contained in the question, “What if?”
The event attracted international fashion figures, buyers, media and cultural voices, including representatives from Victoire Fashion Agency, WWD, Manifesto, D-mop and Alphabet Showroom, alongside influencers and creative industry guests. Their presence reinforced the role of HKFG as a meeting point between Hong Kong designers and the wider international fashion industry.
For Fashion Farm Foundation, the Paris presentation is part of a longer effort to connect Hong Kong fashion with global audiences. Founded in 2012, the non-profit organisation has developed HKFG, formerly known as Fashion Guerilla, as an international programme that presents Hong Kong labels during major fashion weeks and industry events.
The programme first launched in Paris in 2013 and has since travelled to fashion capitals and creative markets including New York, Singapore, Tokyo and Shanghai. Its continued presence in Paris gives emerging and established Hong Kong designers a space to build relationships with buyers, media and fashion professionals beyond their home market.
The SS27 programme will continue in Hong Kong later in October with a networking event featuring selected pieces from the Paris presentations. The pop-up will bring together all eight participating labels and offer local audiences an opportunity to see and purchase pieces from the collections.
For Hong Kong fashion, the Paris showcase offered more than a seasonal presentation. It placed different approaches to design, from relaxed summer dressing to speculative world-building, within the wider conversation of international fashion.
