Mr. Larkin SS27: “Lucky”

Mr. Larkin SS27 Lucky collection first runway show

For Spring/Summer 2027, Mr. Larkin presents their first-ever runway show during
Copenhagen Fashion Week. Taking place on August 6th 2026 at V1 Gallery, the
presentation marks 13 years since founder Casey Blond re-established the brand in
Copenhagen in 2013 and celebrates a pivotal moment in their evolution.

Titled Lucky, the collection reflects on resilience, gratitude, and longevity. Thirteen has long been Casey Blond’s lucky number, but this anniversary carries a deeper meaning –
celebrating a brand that has navigated changing economic and cultural landscapes while remaining true to its independent spirit and distinctive point of view.

“The collection is as eclectic as ever, but that’s quintessentially Mr. Larkin. For SS27, we
wanted to create a collection that honors who we were, who we are now, and the next era of Mr. Larkin. The pieces are artful and individualistic – a bit difficult to pinpoint – but the silhouettes function in your life, whether for a special moment or a standard Tuesday. Every piece has a reason to be worn, always born from a real-world perspective,” says Founder and Creative Director Casey Blond.

SS27 also marks the relaunch of Mr. Larkin’s wholesale business following an eight-year hiatus. This season, the brand joins a new showroom venture led by industry veteran Nancy Rosenbloom at Together Showroom in New York and Paris, expanding their international presence while remaining grounded in the values that have defined the brand from the beginning.

Drawing inspiration from Blond’s travels, vintage discoveries, Texas heritage, and sixteen years of life in Copenhagen, the collection brings together recognizable silhouettes from the archives alongside new designs that define the next era of Mr. Larkin. Styling remains central to the collection – a reflection of Blond’s longstanding belief that clothing should be considered through the lens of real life and personal expression rather than trends alone.

The collection balances soft, pale tones with considered moments of colour, texture, and embellishment. Intricate beading, lace details, and talisman-inspired elements appear throughout, referencing the theme of luck while reinforcing the handcrafted character of the collection. Hand-beaded pieces remain a key feature of the season, alongside silhouettes that move effortlessly between everyday wear and more special occasions.

Footwear expands with the introduction of a new slide silhouette alongside styles finished in soft metallic tones. Fabrications include silk blends, FSC-certified viscose, TENCELTM, TENCELTM blends, BCI cotton, GOTS-certified organic cotton, and carefully sourced deadstock fabrics used in select limited-production styles.

“At its core, this collection is driven by styling. I’ve never viewed myself strictly as a
designer, but rather as a stylist and a clothing storyteller. I love retail. I love the art of selling clothes, and above all I love dressing people. My collections are always born from how people actually live. When life feels overwhelming, I hope getting dressed can be a small escape.” says Blond.

Through Lucky, Mr. Larkin celebrates their history while embracing a new era – one defined by creativity, resilience, and a continued commitment to dressing women with individuality, optimism, and purpose.

Besides the show collaboration, Buzzcut Zeazon is also proud to be globally handling Mr. Larkin’s PR & Communications from September 1st, 2026.
