SSENSE Announces PFW Pop-Up Spotlighting Emerging Designers

SSENSE Salon des Refusés Paris Fashion Week

During Paris Fashion Week, SSENSE will debut Salon des Refusés, a pop-up showroom bringing  together a new generation of emerging designers.

In 1863, the original Salon des Refusés challenged the Paris art establishment by giving boundary pushing artists a platform to redefine culture. For one day only, on October 2, SSENSE reimagines that  spirit for fashion, spotlighting the emerging designers pushing the industry forward today with a Paris  showroom experience open to the public.

The pop up will spotlight a range of designers, including those below, with additional names to be  revealed in the coming weeks:

Kanika Agarwal: Indian, Paris-based designer Kanika Agarwal debuted her first collection this  past March in Paris, introducing a quietly assured vision shaped by the idea of parallel identities.  Her work reflects the experience of existing between worlds, drawing from both Indian cultural  memory and European design traditions without relying on overt symbolism.

Laura Andraschko: Berlin-raised and London-based, Laura Andraschko channels the chaotic  glamour of early aughts nightlife into her namesake label. Drawing on her escapades as a  notorious party girl, Andraschko renounces traditional expectations of femininity, rejecting societal  customs in favor of offbeat styles that transcend trends.

Petra Fagerström: a London-based womenswear brand founded by Swedish designer Petra  Fagerström (2026 LVMH Prize shortlist), who launched her eponymous label one year after  graduating from Central Saint Martins. The brand was created to propose a way of being a  woman through dress that is grounded in presence, intelligence, and agency rather than softness  or nostalgia.

Seconda: established in 2024, Seconda is led by Italian-born, Paris-based designer Andrea  Bertazzon alongside a rotating cast of collaborators and producers. Operating on its own  calendar of a single collection each year, the brand prioritizes meaningful, modular design over  seasonal output.

Salon des Refusés brings the online SSENSE experience into the physical world – giving the community  a chance to see, touch, try on pieces they would typically only experience online.

Discovery has always been central to SSENSE. More than a retailer, SSENSE has long served as a  platform for cultural curation, introducing emerging designers to a global audience alongside established  luxury brands. Salon des Refusés brings that legacy into the physical world.
