SAGABOI SPRING/SUMMER 2027 – JAMMIN

Sagaboi Spring Summer 2027 JAMMIN collection runway show at Fondazione Sozzani during Milan Fashion Week

JAMMIN is the Caribbean art of defying pressure. Presented during Milan Fashion Week at Fondazione Sozzani, Sagaboi’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection explored how Caribbean people transformed pressure into possibility.

Drawing upon Indigenous, African, Indian, Chinese, Syrian-Lebanese, European and diasporic histories, JAMMIN examined how movement became language, collision became culture, fragmentation became identity and suppression became innovation.

Unfolding through three chapters, Pressure, Collision and JAMMIN, the presentation combined fashion, installation and storytelling to explore the extraordinary worlds created when people refuse to disappear.

JAMMIN began with a question: ‘What happens when people are placed under pressure and refuse to disappear?’ The Caribbean offers one of the world’s most remarkable answers. Different peoples, histories, traditions, beliefs, and experiences met under extraordinary circumstances and created entirely new ways of living, speaking, dressing, making music, and imagining the future. This collection is a celebration of that act of becoming. It is a love letter to the Caribbean, to the people who built it, and to those who continue to move its story forward.
