ORAPELENG MODUTLE – LUXURY STYLE AVENUE

Africa is an underdog on its own when it comes to the world of fashion. There is an untapped talent that is yet to be properly acknowledged. In the city of Pretoria South Africa, the king of couture is none other than Orapeleng Modutle. He is celebrated in his country as well as other parts of Africa for his creative talent and his master of design.

In Africa, celebrities and personalities like Bonang Matheba, Toke Makinwa, Kefilwe Mabote or Boitumelo Thulo are names that have the “it factor” in terms of style and fame. These names also happen to be some of the few famous names dressed by Orapeleng.

His brand carries couture gowns, classic feminine suits as well as lavish bridal gowns. The fact that he has appeared on the cover of Forbe’s Africa as one of the “30 under 30” entrepreneurs, is just a small indication of how well he is doing as a person and as a brand in the continent.

He shuts down runways with his designs during fashion week and celebrities go to him when it comes to events that mark the South African style calendar all year round.

Some might argue that Africa is not capable of luxury, however, I believe that we have our own luxury right at home and designers like Orapeleng Modutle make that a literal fact. His designs are tailored to fit the woman that indulges in luxury but still has a taste for her classic pieces.

The Orapeleng Modutle woman is fierce and she lets her outfit speak volumes for her when she steps into a room. The brand is a vision of class, elegance and sophistication. Orapeleng evolves with his consumer’s lifestyle as he aims to deliver garments that bring grace and comfort into their lives.

With the ever-changing trends, it is quite refreshing to spot designers that still believe a woman should look breathtakingly beautiful in a dress. His work has a lot of originality as well as creativity.

African fashion might have a while to go but it is definitely here to stay. The amount of talent deserves a steady round of international applause for we have what it takes.
