Dakar Fashion Week returns for a resolutely poetic and immersive edition, announcing the dawn of the platform’s 25th anniversary in 2026. This week celebrates the creativity, freedom, and artistic identity of Senegal, to the rhythm of the elements and emotions.
THE OCEAN AS A STAGE
The highlight of the edition: a spectacular fashion show on Ngor Island. Models will move in the water, surrounded by pirogues (traditional canoes), where the sea and the ocean become the true protagonists. The energy of the waves and the breath of the wind magnify the silhouettes, for fluid and free fashion, in dialogue with nature.
COMMITTED AND BRIGHT EVENTS
On Thursday, December 4, the Chancellery of the Embassy of Turkey will highlight school programs and initiatives in favor of education, in collaboration with the WFP, UNICEF, and TIKA.
On Friday, December 5, the Pullman transforms into a poetic setting for young designers: “La vie en rose” (Life in pink). Every silhouette, color, and movement becomes a breath of dream and audacity, celebrating creativity, youth, and the energy of tomorrow.
On Sunday, Dakar Fashion Week concludes with the white party, at Le Cabanon, a prestigious seaside restaurant on the Almadies cornice, to celebrate elegance, light, and freedom.
FASHION THAT GATHERS
This 2025 edition illustrates the vision of Dakar Fashion Week: an open, vibrant fashion, deeply connected to its territory and ready to shine on the international scene.
