What’s hot in fashion in 2024 from Rolling Loud Europe

Influencers and attendees displaying the latest Summer 2024 fashion trends at Rolling Loud Europe, featuring colorful outfits and unique styles.

The Rolling Loud Festival is over. What remains are the memories of the numerous festival fashion trends in 2024. What essentials should not be missed, and what is making a comeback? The FAB Team was on-site and took a close look at the various styles. Stay up to date on the latest in fashion, arts, beauty, and lifestyle by following FAB L’Style Magazine.

Shoes:

Fur and cowboy boots were probably the most commonly seen accessories. Even in temperatures over 30 degrees, these favourites were everywhere. Forget the Uggs; fur it is. And because fashion and animal protection are important to us all, the rule here is: not real is the big deal.

One brand was, in my opinion, leading, and that was the Classy Adidas sneakers. White and blue stripes, hello.

Accessories:

Animal prints are making a comeback, best worn as long kimono cardigans over short shorts and bandeaus. Silk or transparent, both are acceptable and welcome. Even in bathrobe style, this look is still an eye-catcher.

No matter if it’s a crop top or a long blouse combined with hot pants and a bandage skirt, own the style. The main thing is that it stands out and is a real eye-catcher. All in all, simple monochrome tops or a completely dreamy boho look were the motto.

Big, fat necklaces and cross chains were also seen everywhere.

Clothing:

Denim is in demand. Wide-leg jeans, denim maxi dresses, drawstring denim trousers, or Bermuda shorts.

Mesh, tulle, or netting. The beach was yesterday; now festivals are adorned with these materials. Long skirts, dresses, and pants made from these materials are best paired with a bikini underneath, with rhinestones, sequins, and glitter being the cherry on top.

The trend is, as always, the simple T-shirt with funny sayings like “Let me update my status,” “If found, send me to my Momma,” or checklists/shopping lists with the weirdest to-dos and items.

In light of the European Championship, many football jerseys were seen this time. Plus, let´s not forget the merch. I am telling you you can´t run away from Pixel Art shirts in Batik Style.

But if you think that’s all, you’re wrong. Classy-dressed visitors could also be found. Whether a blazer with matching shorts or a simple black outfit, the topping is either an extraordinary bag or accessory like a flower made of leather or colourful fabric, or glitter on the face, body, or in the hair. Shine bright like a diamond.

Have we already talked about the faux leather look? Either as a blouse or a pleated skirt, both are allowed. To keep the pleated skirt in check, longer hot pants or short opaque leggings are worn underneath.

Now let’s talk about the revival of the Lenny Kravitz look. Net shirts or destroyed vintage shirts, together with leather pants and heavy leather boots, were probably the choice among guests from France and the UK. Motorcycle jackets with big branding on the back—there we go. Bandanas on the head or as a sand mask—yes, it’s possible.

Bags:

In terms of bags, there wasn’t necessarily a lot to see due to the bag policy, except for the transparent festival bags or fanny packs, which were simply worn over the shoulder like a handbag. Everything works out.

As for the colours, anything goes. Whether it’s peach fuzz, monochrome, or bright, anything that screams summer is allowed. Frog green, sunflower yellow, cherry red, or simply black and white, make it your way.

As you can see, there was a lot to see, but one thing was always the same. Everyone left the grounds sandy, sweaty, or muddy. As the saying goes, “You weren’t there if your shoes weren’t completely unrecognisable.”
