MILANESE ATTITUDE Embodied by the Valextra MFW FW 23

For autumn/winter 2023, Valextra delves into the Milanese attitude, where the fervour for work and pleasure co-exist on dedicated ground. This symbiosis aligns productivity with passion and encapsulates the Milanese way, from the formality of fast-paced boardrooms to the slow appreciation of an exceptional lunch. In the same space, the positive work ethic and carefully considered wardrobe choices of stylish Milanese men never cease to align. It is within this context that Valextra celebrates the tension between the formal and informal, starting with a new-season colour palette that parallels the attitude and architecture of our hometown.

Valextra Mirrors Milan of Past and Present

Holding a mirror up to Milan, there is more than meets the eye as sober shades of cement and industrial denim blue are countered with warming cinnamon and moss green hues, all captivatingly rendered and multidimensional on Valextra’s signature Millepunte calf skin.It evokes the positive paradox that exists between Milan’s icons of brutalism and indoor workplaces, and with its verdant courtyards and inviting café bars, this colour spectrum interrogates the relationship between the Milan of the past and present. Encapsulating this concept is the new Iside briefcase, complete with the brand’s signature Iside silhouette,
It features an archive key lock engineered for Valextra’s Premier Attaché, first introduced in 1973. Its discreet design defines this everyday essential, which has a padded handle for additional comfort and space inside for 15-inch tech devices.

Valextra’s Linea My Logo Briefcase

The Linea My Logo briefcase is another new addition to the brand’s perennial collection. It features softer lines, which, when contrasted with the brand’s distinctive V stitching, make it the ultimate companion for commuting and for travelling further distances with its detachable and adjustable strap and ergonomic internal organisation. They are complemented by the brand’s existing collection of men’s handbags that arrive with the new season’s palette. The V-Line Backpack, Messenger, and Reporter bags bring mobility to both business and recreation, achieving a considered amalgamation of sophistication and spontaneity—a very Milanese attitude. Valextra’s collection is now available.
