Drawing inspiration from Sofia Coppola’s iconic movie, the collection encapsulates the spirit of a modern Marie Antoinette—a chic and confident woman who adores dogs, bows, and a touch of glitter. This unique blend of historical influence and modern flair creates a fashion narrative that is both timeless and avant-garde. Leitner’s signature aesthetic delicately threads through each design, creating a harmonious and enchanting ensemble for the upcoming Fall/Winter season. This thoughtful blend of historical inspiration and the designer’s distinctive touch promises a collection that is both captivating and elegantly sophisticated.
Florentina Leitner Lavish Textiles
Through the use of lavish textiles, the collection introduces a marriage of ornate details and modern elements. Screen-printed Poodle T-shirts and biker jackets mixed with rich velvet fabrics intertwine with faux fur accents, while elegant silhouettes clash with bold statement pieces, creating a harmonious blend of historical richness and contemporary edge. Puffy flowers and sleeves, reminiscent of the ornate fashion of the 18th century, meet contemporary tailoring and playful prints, infusing the collection with a sense of humour and elegance. For shoes, Leitner collaborated with sneaker brand “ATCROX” on feminine pearl-beaded velvet sneakers and silver glittery footwear, echoing Marie Antoinette’s court.
