  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, grapefruit segments, diced avocados, sliced red onion, and chopped cilantro.

  • 2 grapefruits, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a small saucepan, combine the grapefruit juice, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 5-7 minutes until the mixture has reduced and thickened slightly.
  • Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then brush the grapefruit glaze over the top of each fillet.
  • Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Garnish with chopped, fresh parsley before serving. Pair with steamed vegetables or rice for a complete meal.
  • Grapefruit Margarita

  • 1 ounce triple sec
  • 2 ounces of fresh grapefruit juice
  • 1/2 ounce of fresh lime juice
  • Salt for rimming the glass
  • Grapefruit slices for garnish
  • Ice cubes

  • Rim the edge of a margarita glass with salt by running a lime wedge around the rim and dipping it in salt.
  • Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  • In a shaker, combine the tequila, triple sec, fresh grapefruit juice, and fresh lime juice.
  • Shake well until chilled, then strain the mixture into the prepared glass.

  • In a large bowl, mix together the grapefruit juice and the cooled syrup.
  • Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a sorbet consistency.
