The Women International Trade Connect (WITC), a pioneering initiative aimed at empowering African women entrepreneurs, is proud to announce its inaugural event, set to take place from August 11th to 17th, 2024, in Paris. This groundbreaking festival coincides with the highly anticipated Paris Summer Olympics, offering an unparalleled opportunity to shine a spotlight on the talent, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit of African women.

Empowering African Women Entrepreneurs on the Global Stage

WITC is dedicated to building a robust support system for African women entrepreneurs, facilitating access to global markets, and fostering inclusive economic growth. Our mission is to create an ecosystem where African women can scale their businesses, make strategic connections, and access the resources they need to succeed on the global stage.

A Diverse and Dynamic Event

The WITC event will feature a curated marketplace showcasing a wide array of products, including fashion, beauty, health and fitness, artisan goods, gourmet food and beverages, and technology. With over 35 inspiring Pan-African women entrepreneurs participating, attendees can expect to see the best of African innovation and creativity.

In addition to the marketplace, the event will host a series of masterclasses and panel discussions with industry leaders and experts. Key topics will include “Fashion for Climate: Sustainability in Fashion,” “Transformative Leadership,” and other pertinent issues affecting African women entrepreneurs today.

Highlight of Strategic Partnerships

We are thrilled to have the endorsement of the Nigerian Embassy, reflecting the significance and impact of this initiative. Additionally, we are excited to announce our partnership with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), which will deliver a certified masterclass for our women participants. This collaboration underscores our commitment to equipping African women entrepreneurs with the knowledge and tools necessary to protect their intellectual property and leverage it for economic, social, and cultural development.

Join WITC in Making History

The WITC event in Paris is more than just an exhibition; it is a movement towards empowering African women, promoting sustainable economic development, and celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Africa. We invite the media, partners, and supporters of women’s empowerment to join us in this historic event and witness the transformative power of African women entrepreneurs.
