Saul Nash, a British emerging brand that previously showcased its collections during London Fashion Week, debuts in Milan with its AI 25/26: METAMORPHOSIS.

With the new collection, the designer delves deeper into his personal research that has led him to redefine the codes of athleisure clothing, offering an ever-wider range rich with new proposals.

“Movement is inherent in everything.” The very concept of movement is deeply linked to that of freedom. “My collection is designed to allow maximum movement and consequently promotes maximum freedom; we are working more and more in this direction,” says Saul Nash.

The entire collection is built with the functional aspect of the garments at its core, the cuts favor movement, and this technique is applied to all the fundamentals of men’s clothing, not just the pieces with a more sporty vibe. For example, a jacket in Japanese Kaihara denim is paired with seamless jeans. The entire outfit is characterized by a gradient print created using an innovative laser technique. This print reproduces the effect of bodies in motion, evoking a series of images that have always inspired the designer with their spirituality.

The brand’s typical codes are mixed with elements borrowed from military uniforms and workwear. Both the recycled nylon parka and the cropped bomber—made with PRIMALOFT® insulation—feature kinetic cuts that redefine silhouettes and bands that have a dual functionality, allowing them to be used as padded scarves or crossbody bags, thanks to the convenient zippered pockets.

Many accessories and garments are transformable, such as the two-tone Bemberg™ shirt with an asymmetrical fastening that, once unbuttoned, can be worn tied behind the neck. A similar technique is applied to a pullover, also with an asymmetric cut, in recycled nylon twill paired with zip pants—one of the key pieces of Saul Nash—that follow the line of the leg and feature integrated belt loops.

The leather jacket, with removable sleeves, and the hat inspired by aviator uniforms are enhanced with holes that promote breathability. The innovative silhouette of this outerwear is echoed in the scuba hoodies made of recycled polyester, featuring ninja-style cuffs.

These are models of hedonistic inspiration, questioning how far Saul Nash is willing to go to experiment, through clothing, with a new sense of freedom and expression. The mesh-printed hoodie transforms into a basketball jersey, with sleeves hanging at the back to emphasize the verticality of the lines. Even the classic cut pinstriped jacket can transform, by opening the sleeves, to be worn like a hoodie.

Although these pieces are structured, they indeed maintain their metamorphic ability, allowing the wearer to transform them with small gestures. “These pieces are an invitation to let go, to free oneself from conventions to explore a new part of oneself,” says Saul Nash.

The timelessness of the collection is not only due to the design but also to the use of innovative materials and craftsmanship. The zip-up jacket and wide-leg pleated trousers are made from triacetate velvet, which gives them a “premium” texture. The Oxford shirts, equipped with an integrated hood, are made of waterproof ripstop cotton and are layered over transparent TENCEL™ tops, an elasticized wool blend fabric that allows for maximum compression and comfort. All the footwear that completes the outfits is from Referenc Studios.

On the runway, the first male and female looks from the SLNSH capsule collection, resulting from the partnership that will continue for several seasons with lululemon, which is set to launch on March 11. Never miss a beat in fashion, arts, beauty, and lifestyle, follow FAB L’Style Magazine.

The new capsule merges the DNA of both brands, united by their shared passion for athleisure, with the ultimate goal of blurring the lines between sportswear and lifestyle.

Among these looks, a fitted mesh running top with the lululemon logo in matte yellow at the center, paired with coordinated leggings topped by lightweight nylon shorts; a long-sleeved top defined by seams in a soft pink, in addition to a technical outfit consisting of a button-up jacket and matching cap. A must-have from the collection is the leather bag that can be carried by hand or tied around the waist.
