At the relaxed rhythm of eclectic Paris vibrations, the new incarnation of Philippe Model Paris, imagined by Tuomas Merikoski, takes life during a listening party that presents a line-up of the most fashionable DJs in the City of Love. The local Parisian community becomes global but retains authenticity—very Philippe Model!
The collection is equally relaxed, with the Paris stamp defining the brand at the moment: apparently normal, intrinsically seditious, completely uninvolved, and genuinely multicultural. This spirit permeates a series of summer clothes with a used, washed, and imperfect look, a relaxed appearance, and postmodern classicism. The mood is so uninvolved that even the coffee stains no longer appear as stains but as medals to the value of perfect imperfection.
In this collection
The tracklist includes, for men, loose tailoring in elastic swimsuit fabrics, short blouses in voile and popline, long and wide pants, and shirts; for women, superfluid chemisier clothes, technical bathing fabrics treated like a very parisian tweed in soft body-defining tailoring, lingerie dresses, and Capri pants. The exchanges between his and her wardrobes are not only welcome but also encouraged. The silhouettes are urban, casual in function, but slightly distorted in appearance. Following the spirit of listening, the logo-scudetto of Philippe Model Paris acquires a sound charm and is interpreted as a guitar plettro. All in a palette of sand tones: gray with tropical marmoring, washed purple, lime yellow, and clear blue.
The shoes complement the summer mood, calm and immersed in music: iterations chukka of the characteristic “Big Model,” sabot chukka, and new interpretations of the classic sneakers of Philippe Model Paris in the new monogram with a serpentine shield, in metallized flowers, and an oversize interpretation of the logo-scudetto.
