In the heart of Paris, a groundbreaking fashion experience is set to unfold. IZZY DU, the brainchild of Chinese-Canadian designer Izzy Du, is set to make its mark with a one-of-a-kind pop-up store. With a background steeped in excellence from prestigious fashion institutions like Central Saint Martins and the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Izzy Du brings a fresh perspective to the fashion industry.
To bring her project closer to the local community, Izzy Du will be in Paris for the first time with a pop-up from Sunday, October 1st, to Wednesday, October 3rd, at 127 Rue de Turenne, 75003, Paris, 11 a.m.–8 p.m. Guests will be able to explore her current collection and receive personal attention from Izzy Du and her team.
ORIGINS’ Puffer Collection
On show at the pop-up will be Izzy Du’s latest collaboration with TIGER on the Summer Puffer. The puffer, in an orange hue, boasts a hood inspired by tiger ears and features cooling capabilities. Taking inspiration from Izzy’s own origin story growing up in Canada, the ‘ORIGINS’ puffer collection transforms practical garments into vehicles for comfort and beauty. This makes it the first puffer jacket that keeps you cool in the heat.
Among the standout pieces in the collection are the ION puffers, featuring continuous circular lines that exude an interstellar aura. The AXI puffer, with its fully detachable individual rings, showcases an inconceivable design that can be rearranged through a system of buttons and zips. Pieces from the ‘TERRANOVA’ collection, which explores the technical and aesthetic aspects of fashion, also grace the store. Izzy Du’s signature AURA prints, born from her conceptual work, are now integrated into ready-to-wear pieces, ushering in a new era for IZZY DU.
