Filigrane by Tant d'Avenir and Notes de Bas de Paje, perfume extract

On 18 November, Notes de Bas de Paje and Tant d’Avenir unveil Filigrane, a collaboration bringing together a perfume extract and a silver and citrine pendant. Handcrafted in Tant d’Avenir’s atelier, the pendant is offered in a limited edition. The launch will take place at Dover Street Parfums Market in Paris.

The name captures the encounter. “Filigrane” is a goldsmithing technique made of interlaced and soldered metal threads. It is also the pattern that can be glimpsed in paper when held up to the light. The two houses share a taste for hidden details: the fragrances of Notes de Bas de Paje read between the lines, like a footnote, while Tant d’Avenir’s jewellery bears almost invisible hallmarks.

Created by perfumer Camille Chemardin, who also composed Carambolage, Filigrane brings together iris, eucalyptus, pepper, cade, myrrh, cedarwood, saffron, papyrus, turpentine, leather and sandalwood. The pendant, made of 925 sterling silver and set with citrine, is worn on a silver chain.

The fragrance and pendant are available separately or as a set. From 18 November, they will be available at Dover Street Parfums Market, at Tant d’Avenir, 44 rue Albert Thomas in Paris, on notesdebasdepaje.com and tantdavenir.com, as well as through a selection of retailers. Perfume extract, 50 ml: €230. 925 silver and citrine pendant: €300, in a limited edition.

Two areas of expertise, two languages, yet one shared syntax: attention to detail andprecision of gesture. This layering of materials, essences and stories forms a series ofmessages that can be read in “filigrane”.
