DENNIS CHUENE’s collections are a pure expression of emotions, phases of life and formative moments of the designer of the same name. His second Berlin Fashion Week presentation will take place on Tuesday, February 6th, 2024: Under the title “Big Ego – Low Self-Esteem” he announces an introspection of himself.
DENNIS CHUENE – the Berlin-based unisex fashion label – stands for exceptional craftsmanship and an unmistakable signature. Founded in 2008 by the South African-born designer, the collections focus on handmade, unique designs and impress with their attention to detail and high demands of quality, longevity and comfort. Each piece by DENNIS CHUENE symbolizes the designer’s emotions, life events and inner turmoil. They
are always the starting point in his remarkable design process and can be experienced by his choice of construction, material and applications. The limited collections are a pure expression of skill, art and emotions – and are visually and tactilely unmistakably DENNIS CHUENE.
“Every piece of clothing is inevitably connected to me and my inner self. Traditional craftsmanship is important to me, coupled with innovative production methods and materials. Every piece is unique, just as every emotion and human being,” says designer Dennis Chuene. “By representing myself through my designs, DENNIS CHUENE is more than a fashion brand – it’s about listening, understanding and expression – it’s an archive of feelings, emotions and lived experiences.” Stay up to date on the newest in the world of Fashion, Arts, Beauty and Lifestyle; Follow FAB on Instagram.
The upcoming BFW presentation is a continuation of the designer’s personal self-exploration. “With my first show under the title “Dennis Who!?” I asked myself the question of who I actually am. With the upcoming show, I bare it all,” says Dennis Chuene. On February 6th at 2 p.m. he will present his new collection under the title “Big Ego – Low Self-Esteem” at “Pressecafé am Alexanderplatz”. His show concept was selected and awarded a prize money within the competition “Berlin Contemporary” by the Senate Department for Economic Affairs, Energy and Public Enterprises as well as the Fashion Council Germany.
