The FAB Team had the pleasure of visiting this Viennese destination to explore their great specialty coffee.
The coffee shop sits at a unique location in Vienna, a great find for wandering tourists and a perfect semi-private destination for coffee lovers. As we walked into the coffee shop, we were greeted by an enticing aroma of freshly ground, locally sourced beans and meticulously sourced pastries. But there’s more than meets the eye at this specialty coffee shop. Elias Coffee operates with a mission—to provide not just great coffee but also a holistic approach to nutrition. With a menu divided into four categories—Defend, Energise, Recover, and Chill—when you hear those words, you start to think about the foods and the impacts they have on the body.
Each category offers dishes designed to support specific bodily functions, from boosting immunity to enhancing sleep quality. Energise deals with vitality. Recover would help your body out after a very exhausting day. Defend is the group that will support your immune system. Chill will help your body slow down, and it will increase your sleep quality. Those are basically the four groups that your organs need on a daily basis, so you just pick up what you need at the moment. This is also the first of its kind in Austria and maybe Europe.

It’s a great concept. People sure love their pastries. The little things make the difference. We learned that they work with local roasters, which makes them different. They, as a matter of fact, currently only work with local businesses; one of them is the pioneer of Austrian coffee culture.

From what we saw, it seems some people already have them in their daily routine. They go for a morning jog, and then they come back for a smoothie or breakfast.
Finding Elias Coffee Shop feels like locating a treasure, and that’s one of the enchanting things about the place; one could almost ask aloud, “Where have you been all my life?”
